East Carolina University

East Carolina University (ECU) located in Greenville, North Carolina collaborated with Freedom Organization and created an exhibit, funded by N.C. Humanities Council, to explain Princeville’s history. The exhibit was displayed in Joyner Library on ECU’s campus and later adapted into a WITN Article.

The exhibit follows Princeville’s history from its early settlement up until the recent events of today such as flooding, infrastructure, and more.
